Connect the red wire in the ceiling to the black wire in the light kit and the black wire in the ceiling to the black wire in the fan.

Connect your white wires together and secure with wire nut.
All that s left at this point is to tie together all the ground wires and neutral wires respectively.
Connecting the neutral wires will complete the circuit in your fan.
Twist the copper ends together until they are securely connected to each other.
When completing your 4 wire ceiling fan switch wiring remember to connect the black wire to the unit s black and blue wires.
Connect the white wire coming out of your ceiling to the white wire coming out of the top of the fan.
You can also connect the blue wires or the blue to the black wire.
From the switches 3 wire cable runs to the ceiling outlet box.
Turn the power back on and test the fan.
